Days of stay ruleWhat is it and why do you need it?
Georgia travel health insurance is an international safeguard providing financial protection against potential health risks during touristic, business, or short-term visits to Georgia.
Healthcare costs and private hospital pricing policies abroad can be significantly higher for foreigners compared to locals. In cases of unexpected accidents, sudden illness, food poisoning, emergency surgery, or hospitalization, this policy covers the high treatment costs that can range from a few hundred to thousands of Euros.
What does the insurance cover?
While varying by policy limits and scope, a standard travel health insurance generally offers the following coverage:
Emergency Medical Treatment
Doctor consultations and treatment costs for sudden infections, high fever, poisoning, and allergies.
Hospitalization & Surgery
Inpatient treatment and emergency surgical operation expenses.
Ambulance & Evacuation
Hospital transfer in emergencies and medical evacuation to your home country if required.
Prescription Medication
Prescription drugs authorized by a physician during the treatment process.
Repatriation of Remains
Organization and cost of repatriating remains to the home country in the event of death.
